Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program (IPVAP) - VETERANS & PARTNERS - What Is IPV?
Finances is a common source of stress and worry for many people. It is important to be mindful of how using IPV can negatively impact finances.
Below are the most common negative consequences to finances for the individual who is using IPV.
- Loss of Employment – Legal involvement can impact a person’s ability to work or find a new job.
- Costs of Separation – These costs could include legal costs of divorce, child support, and costs of separate households.
- Legal Fees and Classes – If legally involved, you may need to pay legal fees or the cost of mandated domestic violence classes.
Are you experiencing any of these relationship concerns? If so, we understand and we can help!
